Sailing Sails Imaginations
Meet the Founder

Brandon Wilkins

Author. Storyteller. Founder of Sailing Sails Imaginations.

Brandon Wilkins is the creator of Sailing Sails Imaginations — a creative studio built on storytelling, imagination, and the conviction that fiction is one of the most useful tools we have for figuring out who we are.

His work spans memoir, fantasy, and cultural commentary. Across every book the same questions keep showing up: What shapes a person? What costs are worth paying? What does it look like to dream out loud?

As the author of Poverty to a Penthouse, The Silver Sailor: Secrets of the New Cities, and Unlocking Disney, Brandon builds worlds layered with mystery, spirituality, and emotional depth.

"I write the kind of stories I needed to read when I was younger — the ones that take wonder seriously and make a reader feel less alone in their imagination."

The journey so far

Three chapters in an ongoing story.

Chapter 01

The Origin

Stories before there was a studio

Long before the company had a name, there was a kid filling notebooks with worlds he wished existed. Brandon grew up making characters feel real long enough to live inside them — a habit that never went away.

Chapter 02

First Works

Building a body of work

Poverty to a Penthouse, The Silver Sailor: Secrets of the New Cities, and Unlocking Disney each took a different lane — memoir, fantasy, cultural commentary — but they share the same spine: storytelling that takes its reader seriously.

Chapter 03

The Studio Now

Sailing Sails Imaginations, LLC

Today the studio publishes books, develops the Silver Sailor saga, builds the Silver Haven world, and is preparing Coven of Shadows and To the Stars with Azriel for 2026 — with comics and audio experiences on the horizon.

It all started with Azriel St. Omer.

Before any of this had a name, there was Azriel.

He showed up in my head before any of this was a company, before there were books on a shelf or a studio name to put on them. Just a kid, a name, and the feeling that something bigger was waiting on the other side of the page.

Everything I've built since — the Silver Sailor saga, Silver Haven, the worlds still on the way — started with him. He's the reason I kept writing when no one was reading, and the reason I'm still writing now.

So when people ask where Sailing Sails Imaginations really began, the honest answer is simple. It started with Azriel St. Omer.
